Sex Offenders in Josephine

The Josephine Police Department is proactive in its tracking of registered sex offenders and maintains accurate, up-to-date information on all offenders who reside within the city limits.

It is the policy of this agency that any person who has a reportable conviction or adjudication for a registerable offense occurring on or after September 1, 1970, and who is either incarcerated or under juvenile or adult community supervision, parole, or any other mandatory supervision as of September 1, 1997, must register with the Josephine Police Department if he/she resides in the City of Josephine for more than 7 days.

  • Texas Sex Offender Registry: Pursuant to Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Art. 62.005, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) establishes this website as the official Internet public access to the DPS sex offender registration computerized central database.
  • OffenderWatch: OffenderWatch is a web site not associated with the City of Josephine that manages sex offender registrations and community notifications at both the state and local level.
